Welcome to my genealogy photography page! Here, I've begun to collect photographs from all sides of my family and organize them so that everyone may have access to the same images. On all of the photos, I've made an effort to document the names (full/ maiden), dates and locations. If you can help fill in the gaps, or if I've mislabeled someone/something/some time, please email me at ngvereen@gmail.com

If you're interested in scrolling through all of the images randomly, click "home" and view the images already posted.

If you'd like to see what images I have just for one branch of my family, choose one of the tabs above. Each one of these pages has been organized (roughly) chronologically.

If you'd like to see all of the images I have for one person, see the word cloud at the bottom of the page; all members in the photographs I have posted are listed alphabetically by their first names.

Edwardian Period Girls

Picture A
Picture B
These pictures are of three girls--they look to have been taken around 1890-1910. I was told by my aunt and uncle that these pictures (which we found in my grandmother's house--Alma Vaught Vereen) were originally from my great-grandparents' house (Katie Ann Lewis Vereen and John Lewis Vereen), which makes me think that they are of Katie's mother Laura Gore Lewis (the single, older woman) and possibly  Laura's sister Julia (the brown-haired girl in picture B) and Laura's half-aunt Vallie (the blond haired, barefoot girl--also known as Clement).

The oldest of the three women bares a remarkable resemblance to Laura Gore Lewis:
This picture has been confirmed to be Laura Gore Lewis in 1912, when she would have been in her late 30s.
unmarked picture. Possibly Laura Gore Lewis c. 1890-1900? The timing would fit the age she should be around the turn of the 20th century.
There were no markings on the backs of Photos A and B, so I'm going on educated guesses alone. If you have any information on these women, please email me at ngvereen@gmail.com.
